Sportsmatch have awarded the club £2,500 in matched sponsorship in 2004 for the club's Junior School Programme.

This is in addition to the £2,000 awarded in 2003 for the club's Youth Development Programme.

Sportsmatch is a business sponsorship incentive scheme that is adminisitered in England by the Institute of Sports Sponsorship on behalf of the government and Sport England. It aims to provide a much-needed boost to grass roots sport and physical recreation throughout Great Britain.

Since Sportsmatch's foundation in November 1992, more than £50 million of new sponsorship money has gone directly into sport, coming equally from the Sportsmatch Scheme and commercial sponsors.
